This client was a time-poor professional executive, as most investors tend to be. He was looking to buy an investment property and hold it over the long term to build his portfolio and grow his wealth. He also had particular financial goals that the property needed to fulfil.
As a result, Cameron and the team determined that the most suitable fit was a freestanding home, and set out to research specific suburbs that matched these goals while providing above-average, long-term capital growth.
We ended up finding an ideal property in Western Sydney that was on the market for sale, which had both the possibility of rezoning in the future or could be potentially subdivided and sold to a developer. These longer-term options fit the client’s brief and so, we negotiated and purchased the property, securing it for a good deal. As this client was so busy, Porters House also coordinated a lot of the required renovations and then arranged for a trusted local Property Manager to lease the home out to secure a return for this client.
